We at ReactSquad bring the sad news to the community following the passing of James Tabor (known by the community as Win32K). He passed away last 30 April 2023.
Some of the community members will remember him for his willingness to improve the usability of ReactOS through the Win32 Subsystem for many years since 2003. He also worked on low-level components to make the apps run smoothly and without issues on the operating system.
While we understand that we aren’t fully aware of his presence during our infancy as ReactOS-PH, we owe to him our sincerest gratitude for making ReactOS usable for the future generations. Without his perseverance and determination, we wouldn’t be at a place where we are confident that we can distribute this operating system to the world.
Our deepest condolences and sympathies to his family and friends.
May his soul rest in peace.
